Activities in Playa del Carmen
Río Secreto
Río Secreto is considered one of the new natural wonders of the world. Located 25 metres underground, this is a system of caves thousands of years old, with countless stalactites and stalagmites, through which flows an underground river of stunningly beautiful turquoise water. The tour takes between two and three hours and is well worth it!
Quinta Avenida
Quinta Avenida is the most touristy area of Playa del Carmen and the most famous avenue on the entire Riviera Maya. Along the 5 km stretch, you will find a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars, art galleries, etc. This lively avenue runs parallel to the beach, so you can always make a detour for a dip in the sea.
Cenote Azul
About a 20 minute drive from our studios in Playa del Carmen is this famous cenote with turquoise waters that has become one of the great attractions of the Riviera Maya. This lagoon is not only beautiful, but also ideal for swimming and snorkelling thanks to its shallow waters.
Ancient City of Tulum
Perched on a cliff overlooking the sea, the ruins of the ancient walled city of Tulum are a must-see, just a 45-minute drive from Playa del Carmen. The buildings are very well preserved and form an impressive architectural ensemble. Not to be missed!
